Last July I completed the
Bachelor Fine Art and Design in Education programme at the
Amsterdam University of the Arts (
Breitner Academy) and have obtained a grade-one teaching qualification for secondary education in the fields of Visual Arts and Design & History of Arts and Cultures.
I also had the pleasure to receive the ZOEK! award for best graduation research of the Breitner Academy for my thesis:
Museum Wormianum en de eerste helft van de vroegmoderne verzamelcultuur (
Museum Wormianum and the first half of the early modern collecting culture).
My thesis is a literature research on the relationship between the Museum Wormianum of Danish polymath Ole Worm and the collection model of the European Kunst- und Wunderkammern from the second half of the sixteenth to the first half of the seventeenth century.
I also designed an art and cultural module for secondary education based on the results of my research: Musaeum l Wunderkammer: van 1655 tot 2020 (Musaeum l Wunderkammer: from 1655 to 2020).
